We close the gaps around can lights, pipes and the attic hatch before we add anything, because insulation over a draft is just a thicker blanket over the same leak. That way your money goes into work that holds the cool air in.
If we spot a roof leak, old wiring or a fan venting into the attic, we tell you right away so it gets fixed before insulation covers it. Wiring goes to a licensed electrician, since Texas requires a license for any electrical work.
I spent years at a desk before I decided I'd rather work with my hands, and a few summers in attics cured any missing of the office. I learned insulation on another contractor's crew, then started SealWell Laredo Insulation Company in 2023. Most of our calls are about rooms that won't stay comfortable, and a few come from business owners with shops, offices and warehouses.
We're licensed and fully insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. What I care about most is that the job does what you paid for, which means checking the space before anything goes in, fixing things in the right order and telling you when the better move is to wait or call someone else. SealWell Laredo Insulation Company is based in Laredo, TX, and we work in Laredo and the cities around it. Right now one city has its own page here, Laredo, with the city permit and contractor rules worth knowing before you hire anyone.
SealWell Laredo Insulation Company is an insulation contractor in Laredo, TX, and we cover 16 kinds of insulation work, from attic top-ups to foam in walls and crawl spaces. The price mostly turns on how big the space is, how many inches are already up there, whether old material has to come out first and whether you go with foam or loose fill. Foam costs more and seals air while it insulates, but sealing the gaps and topping up loose fill usually wins, unless your ductwork runs through the attic. The schedule depends on that cleanout and on any permit the job needs. Your written estimate lays out each piece line by line.
Spray foam goes on wet and expands into the cracks it touches, so it insulates and seals air in one pass. You'll stay out of the house while it cures, and we tell you when it's safe for the kids and pets to come back.
Explore service: Spray foam insulationIs your upstairs hot by afternoon and the power bill climbing? We check how many inches are already in your attic, seal the gaps, then add insulation evenly out to the edges instead of piling it in the middle.
Explore service: Attic insulationWe blow loose fill through a hose across your attic floor, where it settles around joists and wiring that batts don't cover well. It's usually the most practical way to top up an attic, and we keep the eave vents clear so the attic can still breathe.
Explore service: Blown-in insulationThis is the whole-house look at the attic, walls, floors and the room over the garage, for when more than one room won't stay comfortable. We tell you which spaces need work and which can stay as they are.
Explore service: Home insulationInsulation that got soaked, packed down or full of droppings has to come out before anything new goes in, or the problem just stays under fresh material. We vacuum it out and clean the space so the new layer starts on a clean floor.
Explore service: Insulation removalCold floors in winter often trace back to a bare crawl space. We insulate under the floor and seal the openings so the rooms above stay more even.
Explore service: Crawl space insulationWe fill exterior wall cavities during a remodel, addition or new build, while the framing is still open and every bay is easy to reach. It's the cheapest time to get walls right.
Explore service: Wall insulationWhat is air sealing? It's closing the leaks around the house at outlets, plumbing, door frames and the room over the garage, so the cool air you pay for stays inside.
Explore service: Air sealing servicesWe insulate basement walls and the rim joist, the wood band sitting on the foundation, so a below-grade room stays dry and comfortable enough to use.
Explore service: Basement insulationClosed-cell foam is dense foam that also blocks moisture, which makes it the pick for crawl spaces, rim joists and spots that get damp. It costs more than open-cell, so we use it where the moisture protection earns it.
Explore service: Closed-cell foam insulationOpen-cell foam is softer and expands more, so it fills rooflines and wall cavities well and quiets sound between rooms. It's the usual foam choice when ductwork in the attic means sealing the whole roofline.
Explore service: Open-cell foam insulationWe insulate shops, offices and warehouses for business owners who need the space workable and the power bill under control. We work out the timing with you so the job gets in the way as little as possible.
Explore service: Commercial insulationA crawl space vapor barrier is heavy plastic laid over the dirt and up the walls, so ground moisture stays out of your floor framing and insulation.
Explore service: Crawl space vapor barrierIs moisture getting into your walls, attic or floors? We install a vapor barrier on the right side of the insulation for that space, so damp air doesn't settle inside it.
Explore service: Vapor barrier installationBefore new insulation goes in, we seal the attic hatch, can lights, pipes and wall tops, the openings that pull hot attic air into the house. It's the step most often skipped, and the one that makes the insulation work.
Explore service: Attic air sealingRetrofit insulation adds insulation to a finished house, usually an older one, without tearing out walls or ceilings. We blow it into closed cavities through small holes, then patch them.

Once you say go, we pull any permit the job needs with the city's Building Development Services, so you're not left acting as the contractor yourself. Then I work alongside our small crew on the install and walk the finished space with you.
